Lady and Sons

While in Georgia we visited the "Lady and Sons" restaurant which is owned by Paula Deen and her 2 sons Jamie and Bobby. As we were leaving Jamie and Bobby arrived and were taking photos and giving autographs. As you can see by the smile on Cecelia face she was very excited. We stood in line and she got her chance to meet them. 2 days later we ate at Uncle Bubba's who is Paula Deens brother. I was glad she didn't have any more relatives in the restaurant business in the area. We really did have great time and I was very happy for Cecelia since the Food network is on most of the time at our house. When they open for lunch a woman comes out and rings the dinner bell. As she does she is screaming" Come and Get it". It was a lot of fun and the food was good.....

San Fransico Trip

Cecelia and I made a trip to San Francisco a few weeks ago. We had a great time. We stayed in the heart of downtown which was awesome. We visited Chinatown and took the trolley to Fisherman's Wharf. We also saw Alcatraz, the Golden Gate bridge, Ghirardelli Square, and of course the Streets of San Francisco. It may sound silly but with all these great places to see the most exciting part of the trip was the cab ride we took from the Wharf back to the hotel. UP and down the "steep" streets was fun for me. Cecelia was holding on for all she could. Here are a few photos we took.
